Algorithmic trading is the process & set of systems in which a predefined set of instructions on trading opportunities places trades in Brokers Terminal through a composite system consisting of an Interface between Charting Software & Trading Terminal via a Plugin in any numbers of scripts/ stocks togather at a lightning speed of which otherwise is impossible for a human trader manually.

I do algo trading for myself in BankNIfty (future & options) , Nifty (Future & Options) and SilverMini only & dnt trade any other script.

I can do script wise copy trading which means trades happening in my trading account can be copied/ replicated in others accounts who joins me and permit me to do so.

Automated trading systems punches the Orders into a Trading Terminal based on a predifned set of rules, trades entries are generated in a Trading System.
The Algo Trading Setup consists of following elements:-
– Charting Software along with a Trading System;
– Real Time Data feed to the charting software which plots charts and generate signals;
– The Charting Software signals are read by the API Bridge and transmit to your Broker’s terminal for executions;
– The API Bridge continuously reads, calculates & monitors the Target/ Stop losses numbers and book accordingly.
– The entire system can work on a Laptop/ PC , but, advisable to run it on 24×7 VPS tp avoid any interruption due to internet/ power breakdown.

Any algo trader would need above setup & has to incur several thousand per month on subscriptions of realTime Data, Windows VPS and API Bridge.

Yes, anyone can do these days. But, real test lies in having a profitable strategy.

I do not accept clientele of traders who trade on borrowed money as well as newbies who have very limitted capital or insufficient knowledge of pitfalls in Stock Market. Because intraday trading puts immense performance pressure on me as well as on them which adversely affect my natural style of trading.

I expect all associates to share @20% of profits generated/ calculated at end of each calendar month from clients. In case of any loss in any calender month, it will be setoff first against accrued Profits to calculate the cumulative profit number next month onwards.

There is an old saying in stock market that “A trader must enter into market with monies which he can afford to loose”. So, mental readiness  is necessary for drawdown in capital. It means that inspite all meticulous planning nothing is precisely guaranteed in stock market.
The best way for conviction is regularly visit our Blog section wherein I would post ledger balance image at start and end of each month.
The losses are part of intraday trading but if ledger ends in Green is acceptable. The Intraday trading is more of a money management on technicals, the fundamentals of company has less impact on technical trades.
